Pizza Sauce

The best sauce I've found so far for topping the perfect pizza. Don't use too much on one pizza, this makes quite a lot.



Makes too much
1 tbsp Olive Oil
1 large Onion, chopped
400g (14 oz) tin Tomatoes
1 tsp Oregano
1 clove Garlic, crushed
1 tbsp Tomato Puree
  1. Heat oil in saucepan. Put in the onion to soften.
  2. Stir in tinned tomatoes, oregano and garlic. Simmer uncovered for 25mins.
  3. Add tomato puree.
