Essentially, I'm a problem solver. Someone who sees IT as a way of creating efficient solutions to save business time, and surprise clients by a simple approach. Of course, the system itself may be subtle in its complexity - and that's what will always keep my interest.
Both StatWeb and SLATE were designed and implemented entirely by myself. StatWeb includes a template system, a persistent entity system, and is all maintained by secretaries using an on-line interface.
SLATE has grown into a full Content Management System for academics. Recently, I was contacted by the current users to help secure funding for the next version.
